Included in the 2013 road schedule for Harvard's football team is the program's first trip to the state of California since defeating Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, 1920. (OK, rumor has it that Harvard may have come out to play someone sometime in the 40's, but who's counting?) This road game will come Sept. 21, 2013 at the University of San Diego with the game time currently scheduled to be 12pm.
Harvard is coming off an impressive second place finish in the Ivy League in 2012, missing the #1 spot by just one game. Harvard defeated USD this past season by a score of 28-13 at Harvard Stadium.
The Festivities include three FOUR events for the weekend:
Friday, September 20, 2013 – Welcome Reception | Courtyard Marriott Old Town | 6-10pm
The Harvard Department of Athletics invites all Harvard alumni, friends,
and football fans to attend a welcome reception on Friday night.
Complimentary appetizers provided. Drinks will be available for
purchase. Please join us in the Santa Barbara Ballroom and Patio to hear
an update from Nichols Family Director of Athletics, Bob Scalise, and
learn more about the weekend's co-hosts.

Saturday, September 21, 2013 – Pre-game Tailgate | USD Campus | 10am-12 noon
Reconnect with alumni and friends before the Crimson take on the USD
Toreros. Kickoff is at 12 noon so join the tailgate starting from 10am
near the field. Event co-sponsored by the Department of Athletics, the
Friends of Harvard Football, the Harvard Alumni Association, and the
Harvard Varsity Club. Registration price $20.

Saturday, September 21, 2013 – The Game | USD Campus | 12 noon - 3pm
You can still buy last minute tickets through USD for $10. Click here to buy. (For 20 tickets or more, please call the USD Box Office to get $5 discounted tickets.)
Tickets will also be available on game day at the USD ticket office for $10. All tickets are general admission seating.
Post Game Meetup - Saturday, September 21, 2013 - The Friends of Harvard Football have designated the Bali Hai as the post-game meeting spot for anyone interested. The Bali Hai is located less than 5 miles from the Stadium and the Courtyard San Diego Old Town. No registration is required or necessary for the Bali Hai post-game gathering.

Transportation Information
USD has a shuttle that picks up three blocks from the Marriott and
provides round-trip service to campus. Daily event parking is available
