Wild Willow Farm Community Service Event
Please join us on Saturday, April 16 for our first community service event since Harvard's Global Day of Service.
No experience is necessary. All tools and gloves will be provided. This activity is open to family and friends of Harvard alumni.
If you find that your child is too young for any of the day's tasks, you can simply enjoy the nature, sights, sounds, and scents of the farm.
Please sign up for the event to help us with the reservation: Sign up Here!
We'll be gathering as a group of Harvard alumni at Wild Willow Farm to volunteer, experience and learn about regenerative farming. Get a feel of the variety of things a farmer does to prepare and grow seasonal vegetables, greens, medicinal and culinary herbs. The task assigned will depend on your experience, abilities, and the needs of the farm that week. Common activities range from planting, bed building, weeding, mulching, composting to putting up structures and mucking animal pens.
Wild Willow Farm is a non-profit educational farm in South San Diego. The farm does not use any harmful chemicals on the soil or food grown. It's a 15-minute drive from downtown San Diego.
