The Harvard Club picked over 1,100 pounds of oranges!

Each year we've been fortunate to travel to a different part of San Diego County to harvest fruit from residents who have donated their crops to those in need.  On Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 a team of Harvard volunteers, including a large number of family members, picked oranges in Escondido.  The children were working as hard as the adults to fill as many buckets to the brim as possible, ultimately collecting over 1,100 pounds of oranges in total.  We wrapped up by noon to avoid the afternoon heat.  A great time was had by all.  We'd like to thank the homeowner once again for the nice spread of food and cooler filled with beverages to fuel us!
