Harvard Beats Yale to Go Undefeated!

Go Crimson! HCSD joined YCSD at Ballast Point on Nov 22nd to cheer on the Crimson against the Bulldogs -- if you weren't there, you missed an exciting game!

On Saturday November 22nd, a bunch of Harvard alumni dragged themselves out of bed early to join some Yalies at Ballast Point Brewery in Little Italy to watch the Crimson take their 16th Ivy League Title.

Final Score

Yale 24 - Harvard 31

It was the 7th UNDEFEATED Ivy League Season for Harvard.  The HCSD is proud to announce that seven of the players call San Diego their hometown:  (Drum roll please)

#97 - James Duberg (DE) from Bonita Vista HS

#26 - Tobe Ezeokoli (DB) from Mt. Carmel HS

#22 - Asante Gibson (DB) from Olympian HS

#85 - Ryan Halvorson (TE) from Coronado HS

#25 - Jimmie Hill (RB) from Mar Vista HS

#16 - Zach Schmid (P) from Francis Parker

#9 - Tanner Wrisley (QB) from Carlsbad HS

About 60 folks turned out for the telecast... a few more Yalies than Crimson, but a good time was had by all!  ESPN's pregame show "GameDay" was in Cambridge -- and brought out a hilarious showing of clever signage in the background. The Game itself was competitive, and there was an exciting finish.  Best of all: Harvard won.

Great food & drink, great company, great game!  Go CRIMSON!
