We built a Habitat for Humanity in Imperial Beach

A group of Harvard alumni and their teens got down and dirty to assist in building six town homes

More than a dozen Harvard alumni, family and friends gathered in Imperial Beach to assist Habitat for Humanity in building 6 town-homes.  We worked along with regular volunteers and one of the future homeowners to frame windows, cut re-bar and erect exterior second story walls.

Our volunteers did an amazing job even though most of them had no prior construction experience.  We look forward to seeing the project completed in the near future and partnering with Habitat for Humanity again next year.
