HCSD joined the Stanford Club at a Yo-Yo Ma Concert
March 12th at Copley Symphony Hall
Yo-Yo Ma, world renowned cellist and Harvard AB '76, presented a brilliant concert duet on March 12th with pianist Kathryn Stott at Copley Symphony Hall. Twenty-five members of the Harvard and Stanford Clubs of San Diego joined for an evening of musical delight. As a reviewer described this duo: “Yo-Yo Ma isn't Superman; he just seems like it. During the cellist's recital with pianist Kathryn Stott, one had the sense that nothing can go wrong when he performs. It's his ease and soulfulness, a unique combination. It makes everything feel right."
The Harvard and Stanford alumni met for tapas for a friendly happy hour prior to the concert.
