September Book Club - Count Them One by One: Black Mississippians Fighting for the Right to Vote
Author Gordon A. Martin joins us in person to speak about his book.
For the September Book Club meeting on Monday, September 23rd, we will gather to discuss Count Them One by One: Black Mississippians Fighting for the Right to Vote by Gordon A. Martin.
Judge Gordon A. Martin, is a graduate of Harvard College and New York University School of Law, is a noted expert on civil rights and juvenile justice, having worked for Robert Kennedy's Justice Department prior to practicing law in Boston and becoming a judge. He is now an adjunct member of the faculty at New England School of Law. He will join us and speak to the Book Club.
The Book Club will meet at 7:00 p.m. on September 23, 2013 at its usual location: the community clubhouse in Andalucia (Carmel Valley, 3702 Mykonos Lane San Diego, CA 92130).All dues-paying HCSD members and their guests are welcome.
