Our yearly event to welcome new Harvard graduates to San Diego!
Whether you are newly relocated to San Diego or have been here for years, Welcome to Your City is an opportunity to meet fellow Harvard alumni. This year, Welcome to Your City will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Brewer's Deck at Del Mar Highlands in Carmel Valley. Take the escalator or stairs to the top floor and look for the Harvard flag. We will meet on the same day as other alumni gather across the globe to mingle, connect, and welcome the newest alumni to their cities. This event is free, with light appetizers provided by HCSD. Other food, beer and nonalcoholic drinks will be available for individual purchase. This event is a fun, informal way for recent graduates who may be new to town to connect with other local, Harvard alumni! The Brewer's Deck is on the second floor above Jimbo's (take the escalator up in front of Handel's). There's parking in front of the building, but if it is full you can park for free in the adjacent large parking garage. All are welcome!
