HCSD Community Service Event with HandsOn San Diego for Words Alive: Thursday, July 31, 2025, 6-8 pm
We've partnered with HandsOn San Diego for this opportunity to give back to our local community. Volunteers will pack learning kits that include a craft activity, resource guides, and a copy of a book for students, as well as write letters dedicated to students, educators, and volunteers for Words Alive, an organization whose mission is to open opportunities for life success by inspiring a commitment to reading.
This event takes place both outdoors and indoors. Space and supplies are limited, so we recommend buying your tickets early.

Cost: General Admission tickets $25 (project supplies + 1 non-alcoholic beverage). Drink Deal tickets $30 (project supplies + 1 pour from Ballast Point). Handshake tickets $50 (project supplies + 3 pours from Ballast Point).
