September 28, 2024 - Columbia & Ivy+ Running Club
The purpose of this club is to just have fun while connecting with one another! This is a social run club meaning there will be less of an emphasis on competition/making the podium, but we can sign up for races together if enough people show interest.
The first meeting of the Ivy+ Run Club will be on Saturday, September 28th at 8:00am. We will start at De Anza Cove parking lot located in the northern part of Mission Bay Park. The address is 3000 North Mission Bay Drive San Diego, CA 92109. We will be running roughly (no more than) 3.1 miles, or 5 kilometers (1.55 forward, 1.55 back). Please see the map above.
We will break off into three groups:
1. Advanced (Pace: Less than 7:30 min/mile run)
2. Intermediate (Pace: 7:30min/mi-10min/mi)
3. Beginners
The run can be scaled to meet our needs whether it be doing less than 3 min/mile or incorporating walking.

9:15AM-- Cool Down
9:30AM-Group Photo and Social Time
