Harvard 2024 Global Day of Service

Please join us to participate in Harvard's fifth annual Global Day of Service held during first-year orientation that welcomes Harvard students, alums, faculty and staff to volunteer. Having 1,300+ volunteers in 2023 support 70+ campus and community partners was inspiring!
The Harvard Club of San Diego has partnered with First Gen Scholars (FGS), a non-profit organization in San Diego that supports 250+ local first-generation high school seniors in applying to college and creating debt-free pathways. Volunteers will hold virtual practice interviews with FGS students on August 30th as they prepare for interviews throughout their college & scholarship application processes. If you're interested in helping FGS students practice sharing their stories in an interview format, please register. A member of the FGS team will walk volunteers through the interview format at the start of the zoom session.
