April Hike at Tecolote Canyon
Join us Saturday, April 20 for a morning hike through Tecolote Canyon. We will hike approximately 5 miles of the out-and-back trail through Tecolote Canyon. The full 6.4 mile hike is considered moderate. We will only encounter one or two short, moderate climbs near our turn around point. Hiking poles may be useful. The majority of the trail is flat and should take approximately 2-2.5 hours at a leisurely pace. There is ample parking near the trailhead. However, this lot also serves as the parking lot for the nearby youth baseball field. Please allow enough time to find parking in the event of a baseball game. Departure from the trailhead will be at 8am. Feel free to bring your friends and family members. Dogs are welome but must be on a leash at all times.These hikes are a great opportunity to meet new friends and reminisce with familiar faces. They are filled with entertaining discussions and provide wonderful networking opportunities...a time of fun and fellowship in our beautiful city. What a great way to start your weekend.
