Early applicants to this regional competition receive mentoring sessions and preferential placement in the final pitch order of the regional finals.

Take 5 minutes to apply in time for our deadline of January 11, 2020 at 9 am PST. Applying early may enable you to participate in the mentoring sessions that can impact the future trajectory of your business.

This annual competition, hosted regionally by the HBS Association of Northern California, is open to Harvard alumni from any school. It is the only competition of its kind in the HBS network, and has propelled numerous startups to success with remarkable networking, notable investors, mentoring sessions, cash prizes and in-kind benefits.

Our selection committee will identify the top applications to pitch their ventures to our panel of judges at the regional One Harvard New Venture Competition which will take place on February 24, 2021.

COMPETITOR ELIGIBILITY AND RULES

  1. Application fee: $100 

  2. Harvard applicant must be a founder and/or full-time member of the startup management team

  3. Startup must have raised less than $2.5 million in capital and have lifetime revenues of less than $2 million

  4. Startups that have participated in the competition in the past are eligible to compete again.
