Artists: Patricia Patterson. “Observed Narratives”. Her work deals with ordinary life, with scenarios reflecting the connectedness of family and the earth. Her pieces are based on settings in both California and Ireland.
Sasha Koozel Reibstein. “Antivenom.” In Antivenom, Sasha Koozel Reibstein explores transformation, ambiguity and the sublime through ceramics and mixed media that blend abstraction and representation. Intricately carved forms and seductive, shimmering surfaces demonstrate an obsessive attention to detail.
Alanna Airitram. “Crossroads”. Portrait photographer Alanna Airitam focuses on identity and representation, and proposes an investigation into the concept of wholeness. Her use of Chiaroscuro lighting creates a painterly effect, that coupled with her use of symbolism allows her to explore the duality of light and dark both metaphorically and literally.
