The Ledden Luncheon Committee CELEBRATES BLOOMSDAY ON JUNE 18TH!

The Ledden Luncheon Committee invites interested staff, faculty,spouses, Harvard alumni and community friends to celebrate Bloomsday (a few days late due to UCSD graduation) and James Joyce’s novel, Ulysses.

What: A free lunch!
Where: UCSD Faculty Club Lounge.
When: 11:45 am to 2:00 pm, June 18, 2017.

Program:  Local musician, musicologist, art and music historian, actress, Harvard alumni and all-around interesting character, Victoria Martino, will speak about and perform “The Music of Ulysses”. Of course there will be news from Dublin, Guinness, burgundy, gorgonzola, and “Love’s Old Sweet Song".   Be a Molly; say “Yes yes I will yes”.  We’ll have some fun.

Parking:  In the UCSD Faculty Club lot, with permit purchased at the front desk of the Faculty Club.

Bring your copy of Ulysses; the diehards can stay afterwards to read favorite passages.

Space is limited to 75 persons, so RSVP early!
