A week before the November election, alumni gathered for a panel discussion featuring Harvard alumni who are active in local politics, including Barbara Bry (HBS), Chris Ward (HKSG), Haney Hong (HKSG), and moderator Dan Eaton (HLS). The panel focused on key issues such as the Chargers stadium, how to devise a successful police review board, how to improve on San Diego’s handling of its homeless population, and whether to impose tighter regulations on short-term vacation rentals. In addition to a large alumni turn-out, a very well-informed group of high school students joined in the discussion.
