Volunteer at San Diego Rescue Mission

Come help out in downtown San Diego on Saturday, March 12th!

On Saturday, March 12th we'll gather as a group of Harvard volunteers (alumni, family, and friends) at the San Diego Rescue Mission in downtown.  We'll be working in a boardroom on a variety of projects:

  • assembling hygiene kits for the homeless
  • rolling silverware for one of 3 annual holiday meals where approx. 1800 are expected
  • creating bags filled with candy

This will be an independent activity where we won't be interacting directly with the residents or general community as we have at other service events.  However, all that we work on will be distributed at the holiday meal on March 19th.

The San Diego Rescue Mission, with nine programs and one mission, has contributed to our community for over 60 years supporting individuals in creating better lives for themselves and their families.  We look forward to having you join us!
