Academic Research Libraries in the 21st Century Talk: Friday, February 9, 2024 @ 6:00pm
Please join the Yale Club of San Diego and Ivy+ Group in welcoming Daniel Dollar, Associate University Librarian for Scholarly Resources at Yale University, as he talks about the opportunities and challenges facing today’s academic research libraries. He will discuss the continuing importance of “libraries as place” in the context of efforts to rethink, revitalize, and rationalize spaces within Yale’s Sterling Memorial Library especially as it welcomes its centennial celebration in 2031.
Daniel will also speak about the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation and its collaborative efforts to support the research and learning needs of the scholarly communities we serve
