We're still taking applications to receive a 2019 Harvardwood Heroes grant in the amount of $500, with four grants awarded annually. The extended deadline to submit your proposal for a Heroes grant is this Friday, April 19, 2019.
Launched in 2013, the Harvardwood Heroes program spotlights and supports Harvard students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have made an exceptional contribution to the community. These Heroes exemplify our mission by demonstrating the power and purpose of the arts, media, and entertainment in the betterment of our communities.
The Harvardwood Heroes program awards $500 grants* to applicants who have demonstrated a distinguished level of service to their organizations of choice. Every year, grant winners are determined by the strength of their proposal. They will receive the first $250 upon announcement of the winners and the balance of the grant upon submission of a final essay six months later.

Speaking of community service, we were thrilled to see members and friends pitching in with Harvardwood Helps at last Saturday's Great LA River Clean-up. Thank you!
