Community Service - Mentor a Veteran

Looking for alumni to spend one evening mentoring transitioning veterans

The Travis Manion Foundation seeks volunteers to serve as professional mentors to transitioning veterans.  Harvard alumni have the unique opportunity as a group to mentor those who have served our country.  The goal of such a collaborative relationship is to lay the groundwork towards internships and job placements.

As a one-evening commitment, with flexibility and an interactive environment, alumni will lead break-out groups where general topics will be discussed such as "what are the traits to be successful in the workplace".  A list of topics will be provided.  With expertise to share, there will be time to provide the veterans with interview pointers and Q&A.

As the Travis Manion Foundation points out, let's be inspired by the spirit of selfless sacrifice left by those Fallen Heroes, "If Not Me, Then Who".   You're bound to walk away with some inspiration.
