Freedom Dogs

Support Our Wounded Military Heroes

Jennifer Ding (Young Alumni Committee Member) is hosting an event benefiting Freedom Dogs this Saturday. She would love volunteers (free t-shirt, other goodies, and volunteer hours) if you are interested. Volunteers will help with overseeing the dogs, running the silent auction, and educating guests about Freedom Dogs. There are two shifts: 2:30-5:30pm, or 4:30-7:30pm.

If you can't volunteer, please drop by Knotty Barrel and join the fun as an attendee! Admission is free (unless you purchase a $10 donation ticket that gets you 10% off your bill). 100% of donation tickets and 15% of bar proceeds go to Freedom Dogs.

Below are details, feel free to email Jennifer at jenniferding@post.harvard.edu with questions or to sign up as a volunteer!

FREEDOM DOGS!

On Saturday, July 27th, all five Philanthro cities are collectively hosting an event benefiting Veterans. In San Diego, we are creating  awareness and raising funds for a 501(c)(3) non-profit called Freedom Dogs. Freedom Dogs is an extraordinary organization that strives to speed the recovery and enhance the lives of wounded military heroes through the use of specialty-trained service dogs. The organization is 100% run by volunteers and they do not charge for their programs to military or individual service members.
